NEPCO will continue our in-person General Membership Meetings for 2023 in the Woodmoor Community Center (the "Barn") located at the Woodmoor Improvement Association, 1691 Woodmoor Drive Monument, CO 80132.
The General Membership Meetings are planned for the 2nd Saturday of every other month and start at 10 A.M. and conclude at 12 P.M. Topics, speakers and dates within the month are preliminary and may change due to the availibilty of speakers and facilities, but meetings will be held in the planned months.
Planned topics for 2023 are the following:
21 January - Transportation Plans, Programs, Issues and Funding in the NEPCO Area: John Liosatos, Transportation Director for the PPACG, and Greg Roosevelt, NEPCO Rep to the El Paso County planning activity.
11 March - Status of the Tri-Lakes and Wescott Fire Dept Merger and Benefits to the Community: Mark Gunderman, Chairman of Wescott Board of Directors. Also, Pikes Peak Regional Office of Emergency Management Activities and Plans: Jim Reid, Regional Director.
13 May - Recent Colorado State Legislative Impacts on HOAs from the 2023 Legistative Session: HOA Attorney Lenard Rioth and possibly District 20 State Representative Don Wilson.
15 July (the third saturday) - Water Issues and Future Sources in the NEPCO Area: speakers to be determined.
9 September - Monument and County Land Use Planning Processes: speakers to be determined.
11 November - County Issues, Solutions and Accomplishments: El Paso County Commissioners Holly Williams (District 1) and Stan VanderWerf (District 3).
